Bonding

Bonding is a conservative way to repair chipped, discolored, or crooked teeth. During bonding, a tooth-colored filling is placed onto the teeth. The filling bonds with the teeth and matches the appearance of your natural teeth, improving your smile.

Tooth bonding can also be used for fillings, which many patients prefer because of the natural-looking white color. Bonding fillings can be used on front or back teeth, depending on the extent of tooth decay.

Bonding is less expensive than other cosmetic treatments and can usually be completed in just one visit to our office. However, bonds require higher maintenance as they are easier to break and stain than other treatments such as porcelain veneers. Please give us a call if your bond breaks or chips, as this can usually be easily corrected in one visit.
