Six Month Smiles is an orthodontic system that straightens teeth faster than traditional braces without having the appearance of a mouth full of metal. Six Month Smiles uses clear brackets and tooth-colored wires that are barely visible so you feel confident in your smile during treatment.

These braces are designed to correct cosmetic issues, such as crooked teeth or irregular gaps, and are only applied to teeth that show when you smile. For this reason, more severe orthodontic cases may not be appropriately corrected with Six Month Smiles.

How does Six Month Smiles work?

The mechanics behind Six Month Smile are the same as those used by traditional braces. However, Six Month Smile is used primarily to fix cosmetic issues, not larger issues such as the position of your bite. Therefore, these braces use don’t need to use as much force to move your teeth, allowing you to have a gentler and quicker treatment than you would with traditional braces.

Do Six Month Smiles Brace Damage Teeth, Roots, Or Gums?

There are no more risks of root damage or other issues than those associated with traditional orthodontics. In fact, since Six Month Smiles are lighter and use gentler force, there are actually fewer risks involved with Six Month Smiles orthodontics.
