What is it?

Invisalign is a series of clear, removable aligners that are custom-made to fit your mouth. These aligners move your teeth and correct you bite without the discomfort or unappealing appearance of metal braces. The aligners should be worn 20-22 hours a day throughout the course of treatment in order to effectively straighten teeth.

Why would I want it?

Not only are the Invisalign aligners virtually invisible, they are also removable so you are able to eat and drink what you want during treatment. The aligners fit comfortably in the mouth, and have no metal or wires, meaning you spend less time in the dentist’s office getting your appliance adjusted. Brushing and flossing is also much easier with Invisalign than with traditional braces.

How does it work?

We use 3D technology to create a series of aligners that gradually move your teeth. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As each aligner is replaced with the next one in the series, your teeth will slowly straighten into their final positions. Total treatment time ranges from nine to 15 months, but ultimately depends on the individual case.
